“ I could tell this is the best capcay ever. Typically chinese food style, it served with fried rice. So comfort food, tasty, balanced, and pete babi kecap was so good. But the slice of pork could be more. For the atmosphere was just right. No AC, but still convinient. ”
“ Ordered the bakmie komplit and I have to say that it is delicious. Different varieties of pork are cooked to perfection and so is the chicken and mushroom. Portion are perfect. Beef balls are 100% beef. Highly recommended! ”
“ Bakmi Gang Mangga Jl Kemurnian 4 Central Jakarta March 2025 Bakmi Kecil Komplit for 57 K IDR The homemade mie kecil does not disappoint - the texture is nice and springy with just enough bite to make it memorable. All the toppings tasted well refined, but the chicken is somehow the best in terms of taste and texture - it's just so smooth and flavourful somehow. Meanwhile, the siobak was mostly just okay, and the fried fat pieces were just a bit under par while the shrooms were a good textural addition to the proceedings. Sadly, the minced pork was kinda just there, and the cha siu is probably the weakest in terms of taste - albeit being quite nice and soft texturally. Definitely a worthwhile bowl of noodles, but personally i would have loved some dumplings to go with it. Luckily, i also got the delectable fried meatballs for 15 K IDR. This was quite an interesting bakso goreng since it had tiny pieces of pork fat inside. It was definitely worth the price, but personally i would like one a bit less dense and crispier on the outside. Meanwhile, the 38 K IDR gohiong is definitely going in the top 5 gohiong i have had. It's really great on its own, its packed with flavour without being too dense, and the crispy skin is definitely a plus - i just wished it had more substantial skin layers to add to the textural heterogeneity. Really the only let down was all the sauces for the bakso and the gohiong. The chili sauce for the noodles were quite okay, but they mostly only work for the noodles. Surprisingly, star of the meal for me was the 30 K IDR kedondong (ambarella) juice. Packed with flavour and minced with some kietna (preserved oranges), this was more of a slushy than juice and at 30 K IDR this was really the best value. I would come back just for this. So yeah, definitely great value for money, but the noodles may just need that bit of oomph a good dumpling can provide. Would be great to frequent this place if it wasn't so far from home. #good #food #in #jakarta #noodles #pork #gohiong #baksogoreng #great #juice #kedondong #value #worth #it ”
“ My new favourite noodle house for now. I have tried their special noodles and kwetiau. Love them both. Very generous toppings, great chasew pork, and love the combination of fumak vegetable which gives a crunchy texture. Love the fried otak otak and the sauce, although it is quite pricey. Staffs were very friendly. Only one issue here...not sure of it's frlm the street or where, but sometimes the bad smell from the sewage could be smell while having our meal inside the house. Just that one disappointment. Worth the price, and they open until 3 am. Closed on sunday. ”
“ Pleasantly delicious comfort food perfect for night owl. Waiting time a bit long however ots worth the wait. The noodles is pretty bouncy and semi al dente which suits my taste well, toppings are available in several variety. Nice selection of drinks and desserts especially Chinese style desserts. Fried meatballs are up to standards. Tried the fried noodles too which i think is good enough. Parking is pretty convenient. ”
